For Chommies, Design Week is a chance to step into the wider cultural conversation, showing how African intelligence, radical design, and joyful making can shape what comes next.
As one of the country’s most high-visibility design platforms, Design Week positions Chommies alongside leading creative voices. Ojas: A Reset for Process, Practice, and Perspective

A creative reset with Mirjam Macleod through the lens of Ayurveda
Rewire how you see, think, and create. This is not an art class, it’s a reset. Using both Ayurvedic principles and creative practice, you’ll be guided through exercises that help you step out of your head and into the process. Chommies is teaming up with Journeymen Cape Town for a Sunday adventure that brings together two icons, Defenders and dogs.
Meet at Chommies, line up the Defenders, load the dogs, and head out in convoy to a secret Constantia spot. Engines growl, paws ride shotgun, and the crew just gets it.
