At the heart of Chommies lies a strong sense of community and a commitment to African craftsmanship of the highest quality.

Our colourful collections are handmade using the finest materials in our studio in Cape Town reimagining established techniques: rope whipping, macramé, weaving, leatherwork, fine beading, embroidery, and knitting.

Some of our artisans have brought their extraordinary inherited skills to us, whilst others have discovered and developed their talent in-house.

Either way, all our pieces are made with pride and precision for good moods and good times.
