It's a Small World After All
You know that feeling when you spot someone wearing something from a brand you love?
Maybe it's a beautifully made bag, a pair of shoes you've had your eye on or a gorgeous jacket. You recognise it immediately. And for a brief moment, you feel like you know something about the person wearing it.
There's a funny sort of familiarity that comes with recognising your taste in someone else. A shared appreciation for colour, design, craftsmanship or something a little out of the ordinary.

And when it happens somewhere unexpected, it's even better.
Halfway across the world, down a little side street, or standing in the queue for your morning coffee. There they are. One of your people. At Chommies, we've always liked the idea that the things we surround ourselves with say a little something about who we are.
The colours we're drawn to. The objects we keep for years. The small details we notice that someone else might walk straight past. And, of course, the dogs we share our lives with.
Dogs have a rather wonderful way of making the world feel smaller. They'll happily introduce you to a complete stranger, usually without asking permission. Before you know it, you're exchanging names, life stories and very detailed information about someone's dog's digestive habits.
It's amazing how quickly these things happen when we step outside of our world.
A little world of colour
Our latest collection, Small World, grew from this idea.
Inspired by the things we choose, the people who love them too and the unexpected places our paths cross.
And speaking of colour...
Good things come in seven colourways.
Hendrix, Fezzy, Buchu, Cortado, Cinnamon, Electric Blue and Mulberry. A colourful cast of characters, each with its own personality and plenty of opportunities to mingle.
We've spent months playing with combinations, exploring textures and working with our makers to bring the collection to life. There's hand-whipped rope, supple leather, brass and all those small, considered details we love. Familiar favourites sit alongside new designs, with colours that can be mixed, matched and made entirely your own.
Your people are everywhere. Over the years, we've watched Chommies find its way into homes, onto dogs and around the world. And one of our favourite things is seeing where it ends up.
So, the next time you see someone with a familiar piece of Chommies out in the wild, say hello.
Ask about their dog. Make a new friend.
After all, it's a small world.
